Kevin G. Lillis

Kevin earned his law degree from Rutgers University – School of Law and is admitted to the Bar in both the State and Federal Court systems of New York and New Jersey. After graduating Law School and passing the Bar Exam, Mr. Lillis served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas F. Scully in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, where he gained invaluable legal and courtroom experience. Upon completion of his clerkship, Mr. Lillis practiced at a prominent New York City insurance defense firm where he fully developed his litigation and writing skills.

Thereafter, Mr. Lillis dedicated his career to fighting on behalf of construction workers and other individuals who were injured through no fault of their own. He has been active in all areas of personal injury litigation including, but not limited to, actions rooted in the New York State Labor Law (construction accidents), motor vehicle accidents, trip/slip and fall accidents as well as other negligence matters. Mr. Lillis has been able to use his experience as a former insurance defense attorney to attain favorable verdicts for his clients when adequate settlements cannot be reached with insurance companies. In fact, in 2015 and 2016 alone, he was part of a team that recovered approximately $200 million dollars in verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.

Since joining the Law Offices of Patrick J Mullaney, P.C., Mr. Lillis has obtained several verdicts for his clients, which include: $7,248,719.00 for a client that was injured in a motor vehicle accident and sustained injuries to her neck, back and left shoulder; $6,340,000.00 for a client that was involved in a motor vehicle accident and sustained injuries to his left knee and back; and $3,550,000.00 for his client that sustained injuries to her left shoulder and back when she was injured through no fault of her own.

Mr. Lillis was named a “Super Lawyer – Rising Star” in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, an award that is given to only 2.5% of attorneys under the age of forty (40). Mr. Lillis is also an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Bronx County Bar Association and is a highly respected member of the legal community.
